Play is one of the main ways young children learn about the world around them. Play allows children to use their creativity and build their confidence, all the while developing their imagination, physical, cognitive & emotional strengths.
One of the schools Redearth supports, Kihande Primary School, shares this belief in the importance of play. Teachers have created an incredible outside play area and weather station, giving pupils the opportunity to meet and socialise with their friends during lesson breaks, to extend their learning beyond the classroom into an informal setting, and keeping them physically active.
This is an integral component to Redearth teacher training, which focuses on creating a positive, fun and engaging physical learning environment to promote life-long learning.
